Koen Martens is the founder of Sonologic. His experience
extends to multiple facets of computing, from hardware to
software, from application programming to low-level kernel drivers, from
off-the-shelf systems to computer networks.
After his formal education he got a diploma in technical informatics,
the border between computer science and electronics. He has designed
hardware and software for a multitude of applications, ranging from
railway infrastructure control electronics to embedded systems and web
sites.
As a financial controller for the
Foundation for a Free Information Infrastructure he plays an active part in keeping information infrastructures open and accessible.
Next to his professional and personal interest in computer technology,
he is actively involved in politics, and is
treasurer of a local chapter of a Dutch political party.
